This product is poorly designed and does NOT work on a structured cap like they state. You might be able to print on a foam hat but that would be it. And they charge a re-stocking fee to return. Do not recommend to anyone, don't waste your money.
Works under strict limited constraints.
I purchased the Hat Champ to print on baseball caps. It has some limitations. The size of the print is limited to a maximum size of 4.75" wide by 2.75" tall. It's not a bad size but it's smaller than you want sometimes.
<br>It is also not a great option for structured hats that have a stiffer front panel area as the hat has to flatten completely and wrap around the small platen surface to offer a good flat print surface. This product works well with flexible foam trucker hats and 5-panel soft caps that don't have a seam running down the middle.
<br>I sometimes use this product but often, I just burn my screens inverted and print heat transfers to use on a heat press for hats.
<br>I paid a bit over $425 for this product and I feel it's expensive given its limitations.
