International Coatings plastisol inks offer superior performance for small manual printing shops as well as major automated textile operations. For your convenience most of these screen printing inks can be purchased in quantities as large as 55 gallon drums down to individual pints.

We have a versatile selection of high pigment (HP) colors for dark fabrics, standard colors for light fabrics and a soft hand additive that can be mixed with the inks to soften the feel of a print. Multi purpose inks can be used for a direct print or for heat transfers without having to add an adhesion powder.

Curable Reducer is great for reducing or thinning down plastisol inks. Use this curable reducer for easier printing through high mesh and a softer hand or feel on the shirt. Typically used sparingly between a 5-15% mix ratio.

Screens must be coated with a plastisol or hybrid emulsion. Post-hardening the stencil is recommended for long print runs. If using with a pigment system, mix in pigment at the desired shade or level. 1-10% is normal for standard pigments and up to 20% for fluorescent pigments. Inks may be thinned with Curable Reducer, if a lower viscosity is required, up to 10% max.

Print wet-on-wet without flash curing. Degree of color/wash fastness is dependent on proper curing.

36 to 305t/in. The mesh count being used will determine how much squeegee pressure should be used.

60-80 durometer. Can also use 70/90/70 triple durometer squeegees. Typically heavy squeegee pressure is preferred.

Use RXP, HiFi or any standard plastisol emulsion.

Cure Instructions

325°F through the entire ink film. Test dryer temperatures before a production run. Wash test printed product prior to beginning production run.

Clean Up

Plastisol screen wash such as Citra Paste. You may use mineral spirits sparingly, as it may break down screen adhesive.
