IC Puff Additive for Plastisol Ink Plastisol Ink - Pint
Puff additive is used to give the ink a puffed up look and feel. It reacts with the heat in the conveyor dryer. Puff additive can be mixed in any standard IC plastisol ink at a recommended mixing ratio of 5-10% per volume.

Screens must be coated with a plastisol or hybrid emulsion. Post-hardening the stencil is recommended for long print runs. If using with a pigment system, mix in pigment at the desired shade or level. 1-10% is normal for standard pigments and up to 20% for fluorescent pigments. Inks may be thinned with Curable Reducer, if a lower viscosity is required, up to 10% max.
Print wet-on-wet without flash curing. Degree of color/wash fastness is dependent on proper curing.
36 to 305t/in. The mesh count being used will determine how much squeegee pressure should be used.
60-80 Durometer. Can also use 70/90/70 triple durometer squeegees. Typically heavy squeegee pressure is preferred.
Use RXP, HiFi or any standard plastisol emulsion.
325°F through the entire ink film. Test dryer temperatures before a production run. Wash test printed product prior to beginning production run.
Plastisol screen wash such as Citra Paste. You may use mineral spirits sparingly, as it my break down screen adhesive.

Recommend storage at 65-90°F. Avoid storage in sunlight and moist, humid air.
