RyoCharge Plastisol Discharge Ink Additive Clear Base

Imagine achieving the look and feel of discharge without printing discharge. With Ryonet's new RyoCharge Plastisol Ink Additive you can simply add 50% of RyoCharge additive, mix in the activator and now you're printing with a hybrid plastisol discharge ink. RyoCharge works great with Ryonet's RyOpaque Plastisol inks because of the high concentration of pigment in that ink.

NOTE: RyoCharge Base must be activated with Ryonet Discharge Agent to print.


Screens must be coated with a plastisol or hybrid emulsion. Post-hardening the stencil is recommended for long print runs. If using with pigment system, mix in pigment at the desired shade or level. 1-10% is normal for standard pigments and up to 20% for fluorescent pigments. Inks may be thinned with Curable Reducer, if a lower viscosity is required, up to 10% max.


  1. Mix the RyoCharge one to one with plastisol (50/50). Stir until the ink and RyoCharge are mixed thoroughly and have an even consistency. Do not use high speed mixers that can heat the ink and cure it in the container.
  2. Add Ryonet Discharge agent 3 to 6% by weight to the plastisol/Ryocharge mixture and stir in until completely dissolved into the ink. Once the ink is mixed it has a pot life of up to 24 hours. Only mix what you you will use for current production.
  3. Print wet-on-wet without flash curing. Degree of color/wash fastness is dependent on proper curing.

Printing Instructions:

Force the ink into the substrate, with heavy squeegee pressure. Print wet on wet without flash curing. The true color of the garment will not show completely until cured. On long print runs spray (mist) the screen with water to help the ink viscosity if you see drying.


36 to 305t/in. The mesh count being used will determine how much squeegee pressure should be used.


60-80 Durometer. Can also use 70/90/70 triple durometer squeegees. Typically heavy squeegee pressure is preferred.


Use RXP, HiFi or any standard plastisol emulsion.

Cure Instructions:

Cure at a minimum of 90 seconds at 320° F (160° C) to activate the discharge agent to get a washable print. Evaporating the water too quickly will stop the discharge reaction and result in dull colors.

Clean Up:

Plastisol screen wash such as Citra Paste. You may use mineral spirits sparingly, as it my break down screen adhesive.

Recommend storage at 65-90°F. Avoid storage in sunlight and moist, humid air.
