Riley Hopkins Leg and Sleeve Wood Platen - 4x22in
platen not 4 inches wide
by Jeffrey -
Yes, the platen starts off at 4 inches wide, but it tapers down to 3.5 inches wide. Very disappointed in the advertisement of this platen and will just continue to use the homemade platen that I have used for thousands of sleeves.
I bought this without checking the reviews, and not only did I find myself disappointed that the platen narrows down to 3.5" like the other reviewer mentioned, but I can't even keep the bracket and swap it for a home-made platen. The bracket itself is so big that you have to struggle and wrestle the shirt over it. I bought it so that my little 1-man shop could start taking on extra print work instead of having to ship it out to other shops and it takes so much time to get shirts onto it, I can't ever see using it for anything other than 1-2 shirt samples. Definitely not worth the $80 and shipping it cost.
quality product for intelligent printers.
Had to laugh at the reviews above. To the guy above, I'm sorry but you're loading the t-shirt the wrong way. And to the first guy to leave a review disappointed with it tapering down to 3.5 inches... just adjust your artwork accordingly? Sleeve prints any larger don't look that great anyways.
