“I bought all of the stuff... and I never did anything with it. So for three years it just sat... and then I saw that the classes were starting up again... so I definitely got the first class that I could”
“The staff are absolutely lovely. If you got any questions at all they will answer them and go above and beyond”
Bring your team or come on your own to master the skills needed to produce the highest quality prints whether you’re running an at-home hobby shop or a high volume print production facility. Our curriculum encompasses everything from artistic creation and darkroom techniques to intricate multi-color registration; all hands-on with state-of-the-art Riley Hopkins Presses, equipment and supplies.

Colin started screen printing in the fall of 1996. He took a job working for a resort wear company in the Seattle area that had 5 automatic presses. He began with the simple job of unloading shirts. At 6 months he was training new employees on set up and use of the Automatic presses.
After deciding that screen printing was a lot of fun (and it looked like something he could make a real living doing) Colin decided to take a deep dive into everything screen printing. Over the next 5 years Colin learned Illustrator, Photoshop, and how to color separate within photoshop, dark room and pre-press, stretching screens and understanding mesh.
He made his way down to a two auto shop in Beaverton Oregon where he was Artist/Separator and production manager overseeing and engaging in all aspects of the print shop.
In July of 2018 Colin joined Ryonet and is currently Product Manager and lead SPE Educator.
I have been in the screen-printing industry for over 30 years. My entrance to screen print was designing a T shirt for my friend’s band which led me into working for various screen-printing shops here in the Northwest. I have been fortunate to work for some topflight shops.
I love the challenge of seeing a design come to life, the overall process is very rewarding and fun and that is why I have stuck with it.
Participating in the class allows me to meet and learn more about our customers firsthand. There is nothing more gratifying than experiencing class attendees reaction to finding a solution to a problem. Learning never stops!
We believe in the power of sustainable fashion. That's why we carefully select eco-friendly materials to produce our clothing line. From organic cotton to recycled polyester, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact.
