Perfect for an expandingscreen printing shop, the R2O CMS Pigment Mixing System will give youflexibility to offer your customers a super soft retail type print withthe color match of their choice!

Preparation

Screens must be coated with a water-resistant emulsion to prevent stencil breakdown on press. Post-hardening the stencil is recommended for long print runs. Mix 10% pigment to 90% base or mix according to pantone formulations provided in our mixing software. We recommend using Water Base and Discharge Reducer/Retarder to thin and slow down the air drying process of the ink.

Application

Print wet-on-wet without flash curing. Misting the on-press screens occasionally with water during long print runs is helpful. Degree of color/wash fastness is dependent on proper curing.

Mesh

156 to 305t/in. The mesh count being used will determine how much squeegee pressure should be used.

Squeegee

60-80 Durometer or 70/90/70 triple durometer. Typically heavy squeegee pressure is preferred.

Emulsion

Use WBP or any standard water based emulsion

Cure Instructions

Minimum of 90 seconds at 320°F. Ideally for 2-3 minutes at 340-350°F

High volume forced air is recommend during curing. Proper curing is extremely important.
