RELATED: NETWORKING AND BUILDING BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS
It was all about jumping on press as soon as the class got together on the early February Friday morning at Ryonet HQ in Vancouver, Washington. The students jumped on press right away with a one-color left chest and full back print. Some had never touched a squeegee before while others had been running print shops for years. We got to know each other, shared stories, and instantly became a little screen printing community.
LESSONS COVERED
Our class covered everything from print design, dark room practices, and business to art separations, choosing the right ink, and even included a Ryonet HQ tour of our manufacturing department . We printed a ton of tees together on our Riley Hopkins Manual, printed posters with waterbased ink, and trained students on the inner workings of our ROQ NEXT Automatic Screen Printing Press. This class of 25 was fantastic in every way and asked a ton of really great questions to help them grow and jump start their business when they get home.RELATED: SCREEN PRINT LIKE A PRO WITH PACKAGES AND FREE CLASSES
EMULSION GURU
We were super stoked to have Keven Kauth aka Emulsion Guru from Chromaline us for emulsion demos and taught all the needed details of best dark room practices with coating techniques. He was very informative and helpful in answering detailed questions and making sure our students get off on the right foot. Thank you for joining us, Kevin!
