This isn't just about saving time; it's about streamlining your workflow so you can quickly move on to the next step in your printing process.  With two distinct paddle sizes—one for gallons and another for quarts and smaller batches—this mixer ensures that no matter the quantity, your ink's consistency remains uncompromised. PRECISION ADJUSTMENTS

Designed to accommodate both tapered and straight containers, this mixer doesn't just adapt; it excels, ensuring that your ink is perfectly blended every time, regardless of the container's form. For those tapered containers, the mixer's paddle can be adjusted to reach the very bottom, ensuring that not a drop of ink is left unblended. And for straight containers? Position the paddle higher to avoid any unwanted contact with the bottom and sides, promoting a mix that's as smooth as silk. To achieve the epitome of thorough mixing, the paddle can be fine-tuned to graze the edge of the container or bended to fit a tapered edge. This meticulous adjustment is the secret to ensuring that every ounce of ink is utilized, leaving no gap unattended and no pigment unblended.

PRO TIPS & CLEANING

When mixing custom colors, you'll notice pigments clinging to the paddle. Here's a pro tip: while the mixer does its dance, use a spatula or scraper to gently free any stubborn pigment. This not only ensures a flawless mix but also keeps your colors true to their hue. Another tip, we know you’re used to labeling your ink containers with PMS Formulas so labeling your paddles based on their roles isn’t much of a stretch. Label your bent paddles for the tapered containers so you'll never have to recalibrate for the next job. This isn't just about being neat; it's about being ready and efficient, with each paddle primed for its purpose.

Let’s talk clean-up! Post-mixing cleanup is a dream with the RevolvInk Mixer – a simple swipe with an Ink Degrader or on-press wash, and your paddles are pristine again, ready for the next mix or modulation. As always, remember to be thorough, especially around the edges, to prevent any cross-contamination in your next color symphony.

MIXING PADDLES: A STEP BY STEP USER GUIDE

SAFETY FIRST: Always make sure the mixer is turned off and unplugged before you start changing paddles to prevent any accidents.

Step 1: Select the Paddle

  • Choose the correct paddle size for your ink batch—large for gallons, small for quarts

Step 2: Release the Current Paddle

  • Ensure the mixer is off then use the quick-release to unlock and remove the current paddle from the mixer's shaft.

Step 3: Attach the New Paddle

  • Align the new paddle with the mixer's quick-release metal pin until it securely clicks into place then screw tightly to lock it in place

Step 4: Adjust the Paddle Position

  • To ensure no ink is left behind, adjust the paddle to graze the edge of the container, ensuring every ounce of ink is in play, avoiding gaps and ensuring a thorough mix.
  • For tapered containers, adjust the paddle lower and bend the paddle at the neck for proper alignment.
