OmniDTF Printer Debuts at Our 20th Anniversary Celebration

OmniDTF Printer Debuts at Our 20th Anniversary Celebration | Screenprinting.com

In celebration of our 20th anniversary, we hosted an incredible event where multiple vendors and industry leaders gathered to showcase the latest innovations in garment printing technology. During this special occasion, Victor Peña from OmniPrint International introduced the OmniDTF 14.5 printer, a machine that lets you print colorful designs directly onto film, which you can then transfer onto any piece of clothing or garment. Unlike other methods like direct-to-garment (DTG) or screen printing, this process gives you more flexibility and makes things easier for printing shops.

KEY FEATURES OF THE OMNIDTF

In the video Victor talks about the OmniDTF 14.5 printer. It is a mid-range model, which means it’s perfect for shops that need to print larger designs. It can handle media that’s 14.2 inches wide, so you can print designs that are between 11 to 13 inches, which covers most needs. If you need to print even bigger designs or make more transfers per hour, OmniDTF has bigger models available.

This printer uses a roll feed system, which is great for production. It starts with a roll of film that feeds through the machine. The printer first lays down the color, then adds a layer of white ink. After that, the film moves to a part of the machine that adds a special adhesive powder. This powder only sticks to the ink, ensuring the design transfers cleanly. The excess powder is shaken off, and the film goes through a curing area where the ink and adhesive are baked. The result is a roll of film that’s ready to be transferred onto clothing.

ADDING VALUE TO YOUR BUSINESS

If you’re already in the printing business, getting a DTF printer like the OmniDTF 14.5 printer. can really boost your business. Not only can you make transfers for your own use, but you can also offer them to other businesses in your area. This way, they can pick up their transfers the same day and use them to decorate their products. This gives you two ways to make money—selling both the transfers and finished garments.

Direct to film also lets you get creative with your products. You can print on multiple areas of a garment, like adding designs to tags or side prints, which makes your products stand out and allows you to charge more for custom designs.

FINAL THOUGHTS

An OmniDTF printer is a smart, cost-effective choice for screen printing shops that want to grow. Whether you’re looking to speed up production, save money, or offer new products, direct to film printing is a great option. With this technology, you can meet your own needs and even create new business opportunities by offering transfers to others in your area.
