Avient K2910 Viscosity Buster is a powerful, concentrated additive designed to efficiently reduce the viscosity of plastisol inks. Specifically formulated for high-viscosity inks such as whites and blockers, this reducer improves flow properties, making inks easier to handle and enhancing print performance. Ideal for screen printers aiming for smoother ink application, K2910 maintains ink curing integrity when used within recommended limits.
FEATURES
Highly Concentrated Formula: Delivers effective viscosity reduction starting at just 0.5% by weight, enabling economical use.
Flow Enhancement: Stabilizes and improves ink flow for smoother, more consistent printing results.
Optimized for High-Viscosity Inks: Ideal for reducing thick plastisol inks, including whites and underbase blockers.
Preserves Cure Temperature: Will not lower the cure temperature when used within the recommended percentages.
Controlled Adjustment: Allows viscosity adjustments in precise 0.5% increments, up to a maximum of 3% by weight.
Print Character Consideration: Users should test for changes in print characteristics, as significant viscosity shifts may affect performance.
MIXING
Start at 0.5% by weight and increase by 0.5% until desired viscosity is reached. Do not use more the 3% by weight
TESTING & PRECAUTIONS
When testing cured ink, perform a wash test to ensure proper cure prior to going into production.
CLEAN UP
Dispose unused ink responsibly.
