Step Wedge Basic Emulsion Exposure Calculator

Our Exposure Guide is the easiest way to ensure durable stencils every time. In a single exposure, this 10-step guide tells you how to adjust your exposure time for complete stencil curing. Measuring only 1/2" x 3 3/4", it will fit on your production screen without interfering with other graphics.

Place the Ryonet 21-Step Sensitivity Guide on the screen. Optimize your exposure so that when washing out the image, you are left with 7 solid steps. If you see only 5 steps, you run the risk of pinholes or premature breakdown, and you should double the exposure time. If you see steps, you will have lost finer detail in the image, and you should halve the exposure time.

1st Timer

This helped me out alot - I had zero experience with the emulsion I chose with my exposure unit. This helped me dial in my time so I could have that oh so perfect stencil.

The products were fine, I thought $20 in shipping was a little excessive for the size of the items I purchased.

Works like it should!

This has been the most helpful item I’ve brought into my shop. I never realized how much I’ve “under exposed” before purchasing this. Super helpful!!

Thanks Jeff! Yea, I stress getting one of these to every customer I ever talk to about getting a correct exposure time. They are a lifesaver!

Screen Printing Rookie Mastering The Art

I can't tell you how many hours of tutorials I've watched as a newbie! I was initially confused since each screen is different (right?!) but after contacting Ryonet's customer service, I learnt you essentially 'sacrifice' one screen from a batch to figure out your exposure time using this extremely helpful doodad. The directions are a little sparse and expect you to know what some things mean (optimize your exposure *shrug emoji*) but Ryan's 'how-to' video shows how to use the exposure calculator properly. Works great, correction table is accurate. My only remaining comment is put it in a safe spot so you remember where it went, coz this lil' gizmo has an uncanny ability to disappear.
