This Thanksgiving, thousands of feet will hit the trail in Clark County, not just for fun, but to fight hunger. The 2025 Clark County Turkey Trot is back on November 27, and it’s set to be bigger, bolder, and more impactful than ever.
A TRADITION THAT FEEDS THE COMMUNITY
Every step in the 5K walk/run or 10K run helps create meals for neighbors facing hunger. With 100% of proceeds going to the Clark County Food Bank, this event has helped generate over 800,000 meals and counting. Families, first-time runners, and seasoned trotters all show up to make a difference and have a blast while doing it.
WHEN: Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025
WHERE: Salmon Creek Regional Park / Klineline Pond
WHAT: A festive 5K/10K for all ages and fitness levels. Costumes encouraged. Strollers welcome. Holiday cheer guaranteed.
Registration is now closed, but you can still get involved by cheering on the local runners or donating directly to the Clark County Food Bank.

THIS YEAR’S SHIRT: DESIGNED TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
The 2025 race shirt isn’t just a wearable souvenir. It’s a statement. Printed on a PC50 blend with a vibrant, custom design, this shirt also marks the first time we’ve tested a brand new kind of ink in our print process: Algae Ink™ from Living Ink Technologies.
This shirt was printed using a special hybrid ink blend—half Galaxy water-based, half Living Ink’s Algae Ink™, which uses carbon-negative pigment made from algae waste. It’s the first step in a more sustainable screen printing future, where your ink doesn't just look good but does good.

WHAT IS ALGAE INK™?
Living Ink’s Vintage Black ALGAE INK™ is a water-based ink made with ALGAE BLACK™, a pigment that actually pulls carbon from the atmosphere. It’s:
- Made from renewable algae biomass
- Water-based, non-PVC, and PFAS-free
- Soft-hand feel with great opacity and printability
- Engineered for use on cotton and blends
This revolutionary ink delivers rich, antique black color while reducing your shop’s environmental impact.
We’re proud to be testing it as part of the Turkey Trot project and we’re even more excited to bring it to you soon.

PRINTING FOR PURPOSE
We believe every print has power. That’s why projects like the Turkey Trot matter so much to us. It’s not just a shirt. It’s a tool to raise awareness, build community, and support causes that make the world better. This is what we love about screen printing.
Thank you to every runner, every donor, and every volunteer who helped make the 2025 Turkey Trot happen. Together, we can power the print and the purpose behind it.
