At Ryonet, we're in the business of creating opportunities that improve people’s lives. This is typically seen through our role in providing top-notch screen printing equipment and supplies, enabling printers to thrive in their businesses and hobbies. However, every so often, we get an opportunity to switch gears; we transition from being the supplier to becoming the printer. We were thrilled to partner with friends in the industry to participate in a cause close to our hearts for the annual Turkey Trot, an event dedicated to feeding those less fortunate during the Thanksgiving season.
SUPPORTING CLARK COUNTY FOOD BANK
The Turkey Trot, organized by the Clark County Food Bank, is more than just a race; it's a beacon of hope and generosity. This fun-filled event, featuring a 5K run/walk and a 10K run, brings the community together on Thanksgiving morning, November 23, 2023, at the scenic Klineline Pond at Salmon Creek. It's a chance to enjoy a healthy start to the holiday while supporting a noble cause. Every step taken and every dollar raised goes directly to helping those facing hunger in our community. Over the years, this event has been instrumental in providing hundreds of thousands of meals, a testament to the power of community and compassion.

A HIGH-SPEED PRINTING PROCESS
This year, we’ve gone the extra mile, literally and figuratively, by screen printing 1,500 t-shirts for the participants. We printed the front image of 1,500 tees on our ROQ NEXT P12 XL at Ryonet Headquarters in beautiful Vancouver, WA – all the while, just down the street Opake Screen Printing was printing the back of the tees on their own ROQ Auto, which allowed us to print the project in a matter of hours. Each shirt is crafted from Allmade Apparel's recycled cotton in a stylish heather grey, aligning with our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. These aren't just any t-shirts; they're a symbol of solidarity and support for those in need. The t-shirts were printed using Green Galaxy Water-Based Inks, known for their vibrant results and soft-hand feel. The design process for these shirts was a blend of artistic vision and technical expertise.A collaboration between Ryonet and Opake Screen Printing, the design is a striking 3-color creation, capturing the spirit of the Turkey Trot event and the community it supports.
TEAM EFFORT FOR A GREATER GOOD
Behind every printed shirt and every stride taken on the race course is a story of teamwork and community. It takes a village to organize an event like the Turkey Trot; Ryonet is proud to collaborate with the incredible teams at Allmade Apparel, ROQ.us, Opake Screen Printing and other sponsors. From the organizers at Clark County Food Bank to every volunteer and participant, each person plays a crucial role in making this event a success.
One of our core values at Ryonet is to serve. As a company, we love to give back to the community we live in. We can’t thank our loyal customers enough for supporting us to the point where we are able to give back. We're honored to contribute our skills and resources to an event that has such a profound impact on the lives of those in need. Our involvement in the Turkey Trot is a reflection of our belief in community and the power of working together for a common goal.
