This is a really interesting product. It’s a clear plastic film rather than the masking tape style material of traditional pallet tape and both sides of the tape have adhesive. The adhesive is easily restored with a wipe down using a wet wipe to clear the lint off the film. However the adhesive coating itself does wear out after a while. It lasted about a week of use before the pallet required adhesive reapplication. We used water based pallet tack and the film received the adhesive no problem. One benefit of the new material is that on first application of adhesive, traditional pallet tape tends to develop bubbles. This material doesn’t. Overall, it’s a good product. We purchased the premium version. It does save some time in having pallet adhesive already on it. However it doesn’t last for long enough that it’s a major selling point. It stopped being tacky upon wiping off and drying after about 200 shirts and we used it as ordinary pallet tape after that. So for value, it’s a steep price difference to justify switching over from the cheaper traditional pallet tape.
