Being in Florida this is my go to emulsion
Awesome! So glad ChromaLime works so well for you, Adam!
Great exposure with my timing.
Glad you like it! Thank you for your review!
Got this 2 days ago and immediately coated two screens. It has nice viscosity so it's easy to spread, which is nice because I'm just doing this from time to time as a hobby. As soon as the screens were dried, I used an exposure calculator to get my time dialed in. The description says this is fast exposing, but also says "Industrial use" which made me a little nervous because it is VERY UNLIKELY that you will find an exposure contraption more "DIY" than mine. I was previously using Baselayr Long Lasting (I think) which was exposing at 1m 9 secs, which was not bad. After the calculating process was finished, it turns out the my new time is 20-21 secs!! The screen captured and kept fine details and tiny dots just fine, and I washed the **** out of this thing trying to make sure. This is excellent, but the main draw for me is the supposed shelf life. This is presensitized whereas the other emulsion was 2 parts. It goes bad in 6 weeks after adding Diazo. This one says it has a shelf life of a year or more if stored properly, and for a hobbyist, that is great. I have never once finished using a whole quart of emulsion in less than 6 weeks. Basically every time I had a project, I had to buy more emulsion. This should last me through 3 or 4 projects, both in shelf life and quantity. In short, good viscosity, coats well, exposes well, washes out well, reclaims well and claims to have good shelf life. The lime color looks pretty cool, too. At this time, I def do recommend this product.
Industrial emulsion for DIY use! Glad you like it!
