DESCRIPTION

Achieve deep, jet-black prints with a planet-positive formula. Modern Black Screen ALGAE INK™ from Living Ink Technologies is a premium, water-based ink made with ALGAE BLACK™, a carbon-negative pigment made from renewable algae waste. This ready-to-use formulation includes a built-in hardener and retarder for smooth performance, reduced press time, and outstanding wash durability in one pass.

TECH SPECS
  • Mesh: 150–240 T/inch (thin thread 158 T/inch recommended)
  • Recommended squeegee: 60–90–60 durometer, 13° angle PU
  • Flash: 180–200°F (80–94°C) until dry to the touch
  • Hardener: Built-in; no additional hardener required
CURING INSTRUCTIONS
  • Cure at 330°F (165°C) for a minimum of 90 seconds (measure temperature at ink surface)
  • Oven dwell time: 120–180 seconds to allow full heat penetration
  • Flash: forced air flash is optimal until ink is dry to the touch
  • Test all prints for wash and color fastness before production
CLEAN UP
  • Wash screens and equipment immediately after use with water and mild detergent or a water-based cleaner
  • Keep screens moist during downtime to maintain open mesh
STORAGE INFORMATION
  • Shelf life: 1 year from receipt in unopened original packaging
  • Storage temperature: 41°F–89°F (5°C–32°C)
  • Store in a well-ventilated area away from heat sources or direct sunlight
  • Do not freeze
