The SAATI PHU-HR Emulsion is a versatile, high-performance screen printing emulsion designed for use with plastisol, water-based, discharge, solvent-based, and UV inks. This red, one-part pure photopolymer emulsion utilizes SBQ technology, allowing for exposure times up to six times faster than traditional two-part emulsions. Its high solids content and viscosity ensure easy coating and excellent bridging across all mesh counts, making it suitable for both manual and automatic screen printing applications. Additionally, it offers universal ink resistance and is easy to reclaim, eliminating the need for diazo or catalyst hardening, even when used with discharge inks.
Before coating a screen with Textil PHW Red, your screen must be clean and free of any dirt and oils. With brand new screens we recommend a Dehaze and also a degrease step before coating.
By hand: Using a high quality scoop coater or coating trough, apply one or two coats to the substrate (t-shirt) side of the screen, followed by one or two coats on the squeegee side. For a thicker stencil, apply additional coats to the squeegee side prior to drying. For a higher quality stencil with a minimal increase in stencil thickness, apply one or two additional coats to the substrate side of the screen after the initial coats have dried.
When sealed in the original container and stored in cool conditions, Saati products will maintain their original properties for one year from the date of production.
