Gustavo of @gooseworks started screen printing t-shirts because it seemed like the perfect combination of the creativity he’d always been passionate about. He taught himself to screen print, and the rest is history. Here’s what he had to say about GooseWorks Screen Printing:
1. You seem like you have a ton of fun with your business. What’s your secret?
"If it aint fun, you're doing it wrong." I'm lucky to be surrounded by great staff that keep me on my toes and amazing clientele that continues to challenge me into finding more creative, fun ways to bring value to their product. Every day is fun and interesting in here.
2. What’s been your favorite design or job to print?
There are so many, but definitely the ones that are unique in their own way are our "FreePrintFridays.” Not so much for the design we have available at the time but because of how awesome it is to see people take time out of their day to come see us and have them learn about what we do and tell us a little bit about themselves.
3. What challenges have you overcome to get where you are?
Goes without saying, COVID. Our grand opening was December 2019 and I don't need to tell you what comes next... but I stuck with it. Rather than sitting back and asking for govt aid or waiting for answers, I got to work and figured out ways that I could help in the community and assure people that we were still here if they needed us. A T-Shirt with the right message can be very powerful.
