What good could you do with a FREE 6×6 Riley 300? Would you print shirts for a good cause, give shirts to people who need them the most, spread love and encouragement with printed words, or something completely different? Well, everyone at Ryonet wants to know, and we want to gift one lucky human who wants to give back to their community with a free Riley 300. Not only are we giving away a Riley 300, but we are also giving away some other prizes. As an added bonus, each of these prizes come with a case of Allmade tees!
How It Works
1) Create a 90 second video telling us why you deserve the Riley 300, how you would use the press to give back, and about a good Ryonet experience you have had.
2) Submit the video between June 15 and July 9.
3) A panel of judges will review the videos and announce a winner on July 13.
About Our Judges
For the next few weeks, our judges will be releasing example videos of how they would submit into the competition. This weeks video featured Travis “The FeatherHawk” Snyder. Stay tuned for the videos and bios of our other judges.
My name is Travis “the Featherhawk” Snyder. By the grace of God, I am a person in long term recovery from a substance use disorder. What that means to me, is I’m a survivor of a progressive opiate addiction and have not had a mind or mood altering chemical for over 6 years. As a result of this choice, hard work, and a healthy lifestyle where my focus and awareness remains on recovery, I am able to live a life where positive things can happen every day. Today, I’m a Graphic Designer, Screen Printer, Community Organizer and Recovery Advocate among many other blessings. I’m grateful to lead an inspirational activity based recovery project named “The Skook Recovers.” We are active in breaking stigma, educating, and raising awareness for the danger of substance use and addiction.
I am also the thought leader behind Prints for Positivity, a movement and platform to connect screen printers with motivated groups and individuals who are energized to make an impact in their community, but may lack the resources to bring in graphic and printed elements such as t-shirts, banners, logos and websites. As printers and designers, we hold the power and generosity to help people create real life stories that impact their communities in a positive way.
